The Beach Resort
Km 16, Calumangan, Bago City, Philippines

The Beach Resort is an old resort (formerly called Jara Beach Resort) located along Km 16 Calumangan, Bago City, South of Bacolod, the capital of Negros Occidental, Philippines. It is located right off a 4 lane highway. Bacolod is listed as the most livable city in the Philippines and is an hour by plane from manila, 30 minutes by plane from Cebu, and an hour by fast ferry from Iloilo. The Beach is accessible by public utility vehicles. Southbound buses are stationed in Bacolod City at the South Terminal along Lopez-Jaena Street.

The Beach is bounded on the west side by the Guimaras Strait, a body of water in the Western Visayas region of the Phillipines, connecting the Visayas Sea with the Panay Gulf and Sulu Sea beyond. The property is approximately 20,000 square meters (2 hectares, almost 5 acres) with an abundant growth of mature hardwood and fruit trees. The resort has private beach and has a river shoreline throughout the entire length of the property. A newly constructed 9 foot fence (7 feet concrete and 2 feet barbed wire) extends from the entrance all the way to the water to keep outsiders out. The property boasts of panoramic views of ocean and spectacular sunsets, ideal for energy producing wind turbines due to the breezy gusts from the sea.
It has great accessibility and tremendous development potential for development into an upscale resort (development plans available), retirement community development, and waterfront housing/condominium development for foreigner retirees and returning Filipinos.
